Our house is situated in Calle Gambari in Chioggia center. It is a typical house, fully rebuilt, ready to host those who, in this wonderful place, are willing to spend a unique holiday.
Daily life in Chioggia can’t be told, it is worth while living it hanging out along the “calli” or even doing shopping at the fish market, the fruit market and then having a walk in Corso del Popolo and a drink in one of the many bars.
The history of Chioggia is very old, even older than Venice. Its origins are a blend of history and legend. It goes saying that the town’s founder Clodio, found refuge here after escaping from Troy. Historical events didn’t give so much shape to the town however, even if we can count many such as the war of Chioggia (1378-1381). This war is still performed every third weekend of June. It recalls the way the Chioggiotti( the inhabitants of Chioggia)fought with the Venetians against the Genovesi( inhabitants of Geneva). We are sure you will be very pleased with cheerful liveliness in this town on your staying.
During your holiday you can live among the Chioggiotti so as to discover the habits and customs of people used to face up with sea-life proudly. Don’t forget that Chioggia has something special and unique to offer. Venice and its wonderful lagoon. Not far from Chioggia, just a few hundred metres, there’s a very large beach in Sottomarina, well known for its healing properties. It’s plenty of bathing establishments, ready to host and offer any kind of facilities and let you have a great holiday.
Chioggia is the best starting point to have a trip on the lagoon. Every day well-equipped boats leave on tourist excursions to Venice and the nearby islands: Murano, Burano, Torcello. The “ vaporetto” (steamboat) will take you to Pellestrina, a fantastique isle on the venetian lagoon, near Chioggia and linked to Ca’Roman Isle. It offers prosperous nature and an unspoilt beach as well.
Padova , a historical and very old town ,is at 50 km . It can be reached very easily either by public transport or by car. The Colli Euganei ,Abano, Montegrotto Terme and Ville Venete are next to Padova. You can also go to Ravenna, Ferrara, Vicenza, Bassano and Treviso in no time. We will be pleased to give you any information you need on your arrival so as to help you organize your holiday at the best if you want.

Flat on the third /fourth floor. It has an exclusive terrace overlooking the city centre. Independent hall, kitchen- living room, double bedroom ( or two single beds as you like ), bathroom. The living-room is 20 m2 large. The sofa in living-room can turn into a double bed.
